The Miracle Cure! Get Outs
Host: James Walton “I Am Liberty”
What ails you? It seems like every person I know has something. It’s a neck thing an ear thing an eye thing. Its allergies or its blood pressure or it’s something hereditary. Of course we all break down and some of us suffer from legitimate physical or health related issues. It’s really hard for me to believe that everyone is suffering from some kind of crazy nuisance that cannot be turned off. I find this hard to believe and beyond that I think being wrapped up in the techno induced human experience is creating some issues.
There is so much pleasure in our world and it gets emailed, texted, delivered right into our laps in a moment’s notice. This ability to access information and fun is incredible and it’s incredibly helpful. Also it’s only going to increase. What many people don’t want to talk about is that it’s also incredibly addictive. The problem is we cannot be what we are from a couch or a cubicle. It’s impossible. We aren’t floating brains that live on stimuli. That being said much of your average American lifestyle is based around just that. Whether that stimuli is pleasurable or stressful we are constantly telling our brains to be excited in some way or another. This releases chemicals and has other adverse effects on our bodies.
Obviously, we aren’t going to revert back to caveman but like everything else it’s about balance. I want to talk about how integrating the outdoors into your life can change your life for the positive. I am not talking about heading over to the local park and running 3 miles. I want to talk about hiking miles into the woods and staying there. I want people to go on great adventures in the outdoors. There is something magical that happens to your instinctual self when you get away from the constructs of human society.
