SHTF Pest Control
Micheal Kline “Reality Check” Audio player below!
I do not know of a single human on this planet who enjoys mosquitoes, ticks, roaches, or creepy crawlies. Barring the entomologist in the world, being outside with bugs can mess up a perfect camping trip. Fortunately, there are many options to spray around and life is good. However, in a grid down scenario, we will not have the luxury of heading to the local big box and getting a new can of mosquito, roach, or wasp spray. Continue reading SHTF Pest Control!→
In this episode of Herbal Prepper Live, we’re going to go over what belongs on a “pandemic checklist”, and how Herbal Medicine can help fill in the gaps on that checklist.
The massive Ebola outbreak in West Africa has caused a surge of interest in pandemic preparedness. While it’s good to be aware of the risks that Ebola presents, pandemic preparedness is about more than just Ebola or any one disease.
The MERS coronavirus has made its first appearance in the US. Ebola is still on the move in West Africa. Somewhat less nerve-wracking is the mosquitos-borne Chikungunya virus which is now in the Caribbean. New strains of Influenza virus develop each year. And the World Health Organization has finally come out and acknowledged drug-resistant bacteria (specifically C-diff, e-coli, bacterial pneumonia, MRSA, and gonorrhea) for the global threat that it is.
As Preppers, we plan for the worst and hope for the best. We just never know from one day to the next what can impact our lives. There are some things such as natural disasters and accidents we expect to happen, and although they can leave us feeling at a loss, a plague, is a totally different situation few of us know how to prepare for and wonder if we even can. Deb is always talking about community building and being part of a society of common minded individuals will be the only possibility for true survival. Most of us use common sense skills, but is there anything we can do if we are hit with a Plague?
Join Deb on “Common Sense Prepping” as she discusses this very topic with Author, R.P. Ruggiero, who has written the book, “BRUSHFIRE PLAGUE.” “This book is a novel grounded in neighbors defending themselves during a devastating plague.” R.P. Ruggiero lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two sons. When he is not outdoors, writing, or learning a new skill, he helps people achieve common goals. Join us this Friday as we learn, what we can do, to avoid or help ourselves and our loved ones through what most of us pray never happens. There will be a book giveaway on this show.
