Introduction, Culmination and CultivationCultivation. It is the young plant – the seedling. The thing that we capture in the early stages of growth. We shelter young seeds and frail starts from the harshness of the world just long enough to allow them to grow on their own.

This show is the seed of a new aspect of preparedness on PRN that focuses on kids, parenting and preparedness.

In this inaugural episode of The Next Generation, we will make some brief introductions and explore the “Why,” and how important it is to remember when times are tough the little things that make all the difference in the world.

For some people, the thought of bringing a child into this world is one that comes as a surprise and has a lifetime of challenges along with it. Children create a hinge point on preparedness. They force us to think about more than just ourselves on a daily basis. But what we do with our kids today to shape their futures and prepare them for realities of life while still sheltering them in the process is a huge challenge to some. You are often forced to give up certain freedoms you may have enjoyed without kids– or schedule them around your family life.

I’m here to tell you that there’s no time like today to get started when it comes to preparedness with your kids – and hopefully I can help you along the way.
