In the 2nd segment, I cover all of the economic news items from the past week.
Since we, my wife and me live in an apartment, we’ve had to become very creative when it comes to space. Space is something of a premium when living in an apartment or other small housing. One of the first things we’ve done was to rent a storage bin offsite. We treat it as though it were a part of the rent. I was able to get a sufficient size bin for about $50/month. This allows us to keep all non essential items out of the apartment.
Starting with our bedroom, we purchased one of those bed foundations that has drawers. Six drawers on each side, but, I chose not to assemble the drawers. Instead, we have six, large openings that we use for storage. In our closet, we were able thin out our hanging clothes and created additional space. In the kitchen, we installed commercial kitchen shelving. It’s rated at about 1000 Lbs. With plenty of shelving, we have placed our storable food to the rear and extreme top and bottom.
Throughout the apartment, we have found ways to maximize space and used the type of furniture that allows for decorative and also storage needs. We will cover all of these ideas during the second half of the show. Thank you for being a listener to Prepper Broadcasting!
