Unlawful Orders, Defending the Constitution
Host: Joe Prepper “Survival Revolution”
Do soldiers and law enforcement understand the Constitution well enough to know when their pledge to defend it is required? When is allegiance to people and our Constitution enough to betray an institution you belong to, and a brotherhood you love? Should our military and police officers refuse to follow orders that are unconstitutional or unlawful and risk losing their job or worse? Would you? When does one say “enough is enough”? When do you step up to the plate? Sadly, most people will not engage in a fight for their freedoms or rights but instead will prepare for the outcome as others fight for the freedoms and rights of everyone. Those that stand up and fight are often remembered for their actions through the ages. Their leadership, efforts, and contribution to society direct our future while those that only follow simply fade away.
Preparedness for most is only the effort put forth to protect themselves and family from unforeseeable events whether it be natural or of our own creation. For some, preparedness is much more proactive. These are the people that step up to the plate with incredible effort to initiate change that serves to protect everyone’s freedoms and rights, not just their own.
On this episode of “They Were Preppers” Katzcradul of The Homestead Honey Hour reads for us a story of women with true grit on a campaign fighting for their freedoms and rights. A major campaign won by strong women, strong enough and with enough determination to take on government at all levels… and wins. A reminder that changes can be made with courage and determination. Along the Suffrage Trail` From West to East for FREEDOM NOW!
By: Amelia Fry
Part of preparedness for most of us has not only been the effort put forth to protect ourselves from unforeseeable events but to also protect ourselves from tyranny, the loss of freedom and liberty. The following article describes a major campaign won by strong Women, strong enough and with enough determination to take on government at all levels… and win. A reminder that change can be made with courage and determination. Gman
The place was San Francisco. The time was September 16, 1915, and in the brilliant lights of the Panama Pacific International Exposition the first Women Voters’ Convention was staging its grand finale – a spectacular send-off of petite Sara Bard Field and her fellow envoy, Frances Jolliffe, on one more woman suffrage campaign. What made this campaign different was that it was to be entirely by auto, entirely across the continent, and entirely by women. The mission: to symbolize the offer of the political power of the enfranchised women of the West to their voteless sisters in the East. The plan was direct and dramatic – direct because they would take a suffrage petition to President Woodrow Wilson and to the Congress for the opening day of its 1915 – 1916 session; dramatic because in all major cities along the route they would stage parades and rallies, garner public statements of support from congressmen in their home territories, and add thousands of names to the petition – which already had half a million signatures on a roll of paper 18,333 feet long. An Inquiry into the Career of a Populist
By: Roger G. Kennedy
Host: Doug “GoatHollow” for “They Were Preppers”
Editor’s Note: There have been few periods in the history of the West more thoroughly convulsive than that between 1880 and 1900, a time when all the agonies of class conflict in America found sharp focus in the plight of the western farmer, whose dream of a Jeffersonian Eden had been mutilated by reality _ and, in his view, by the villainous manipulation of money-lenders and capitalists. The period gave birth to Populism, one of the most significant political movements in western history, and one that would have a profound effect on both major parties, even while the presidential campaigns of the party’s leader, William Jennings Bryan, went down to defeat. Has the degradation of our rights in Canada caught up with the U.S.? In a huge sidestep from my normal subject guide lines, I’m going to dive into politics this week on The Prepared Canadian. Yes, that’s right, politics. Now, the reason I don’t usually delve into this realm is because it incites a lot of personal conviction to come out and generally degrades into a you against us type of argument that never leads us anywhere good.
We have all heard a lot, and I mean a LOT about the degradation of the constitutional rights of our friends south of the 49th parallel. Some of you may think that although this is worth watching, and that Canada could never go down this road. Well, that’s a huge load of horse manure. In fact, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which is what we call the Canadian Constitution, has had within it, a provision to enforce any legislation proposed by the federal, or any provincial legislature that they deem fit, regardless of its contravening many of the other rights we have within the charter.
But that’s not all. We have some very similar laws as the US in regards to abusive government powers which could be used for the overall good in certain situation, but could also be abused on the whim of those that believe they have control over us.
This week, we’ll take a look at the clause in the charter that allows for a blatant disregard of our rights, and which rights it refers to. Also, we’ll look at some of the laws that are on the books that draw some scary parallels to the most controversial laws enacted by the US government.

I’ve been pulled over only to be asked what was in my truck… when I got persnickety the cop got a bit annoyed and realized I knew my rights, and proceeded to hop back in his little light up vehicle and piss off. Far too many people in America have either been witness to police brutality and overreach, or simply read the headlines. Until now it has felt like sheer and utter helplessness when it comes to facing the fear or fighting this constitutional obstruction.
Remember the two beautiful women that were cavity searched by a very manly female cop? She bent them over the car and searched both of their cavities, then switched to the other woman and did the same without even changing her glove – all because she claimed to smell pot. None of the women smoked. Needless to say a lawsuit was filed and the police department said they were well within their legal right… regardless of the fact that the women developed an infection.
So how do you hold them accountable? Call them out, make it public, and reinforce good cops. Far too many officers think they are “officials” instead of “servants.” They refer to us as “civilians” instead of “citizens.”
This Monday, August 12 on The Gun Show, Dave Womach interviews officers from around the country to hopefully join hands to fight against tyranny – while simultaneously interviewing a member of a cop watch program that has been designed to create a public list of officers who break the law and get away with it. America is a police state, but not if we can help it. Tune in and see how you can fight. Related broadcast Go Here! Listen to this show in player below!
“The Prepper’s Poitin Hour”, join your host Chris as he talks about collectivism. He was recently incensed over a soundbite on CNN where a big education mafiosi was saying that we, as parents, have no rights to view our children as our own. She was recycling the old Hillary Clinton “It Takes A Village” garbage and taking it further. So, in the spirit of the show, he will tackle collectivism and also will look at the current peacehawk warmongering that Obama and his cronies are engaging in. Come on in, leave your kool-aid at the door, have a real drink, and sit a spell. Slainte!
