Should We Prepare for Climate Change?
James Walton “I Am Liberty” Listen to this show in player below!
Throughout the history of the earth the climate has been changing. Our ancestors faced the onset of the ice age which was a tremendous swing in climate. This extreme change stifled our growth but we somehow eked it out. There are some who believe this change was brought on by some sort of cosmic collision with another large body, probably asteroid or comet. This is not a far fetched idea Read more “Should We Prepare for Climate Change?”

Will Preppers Die?
In the event of a major cataclysmic event Preppers will die. How many, which ones and why? This will all depend on the event, the severity of the event, and your preps. If you take a hard look at all the different scenarios that could happen, the magnitude of each, and the subsequent events that would follow each one you would need a super computer to analyze the possibilities and the correct response for each. When there is as much corruption in the air that its nearly palpable I often breakdown. When we have no idea what our country will look like in 20 years or how our children will make a living it always helps me to go back to the basics. That to me means looking around at my community and realizing the possibilities within communities around the world.
Tonight we are going over the movement to Re-root America. This is the path towards a better country in my opinion. Read more “Re-root USA!”
Four Seasons of Wild Edibles with Tim MacWelch Part II
Host: James Walton “I Am Liberty”
Would you like a copy of “Prepare For Anything” ? Here’s your chance on this edition of I Am Liberty. We only made it into two seasons on our show last week with Tim MacWelch. I highly recommend you listen to Part I of our adventure before tuning into Part II. Not only for your health and wellness but because of the fact that we had great conversation and solid knowledge on a great topic.
Would you have ever imagined spring being a killer season? We talked about Tim’s ancestry and how the Powhatan Indians’ most challenging times came in spring before the food really became substantial. Read more “Wild Edibles with Tim MacWelch Part II”
The Urban Medic Part 2 – Medicinal Herbs
Host: Sam Coffman “The Human Path”
Last week, Sam Coffman talked about the “urban medic,” or ways of dealing with injury and illness in an urban environment using wilderness and herbal medicine skills. Sam discussed the details of setting up a neighborhood clinic as well as considerations of being a mobile medic in an urban area that is experiencing unrest, protests or mob violence.
This week on The Human Path Sam will discuss the specific herbs and other first aid gear that you should consider having or carrying in this kind of a situation. He will discuss several medicinal plants that grow throughout urban areas in North America, how to identify, prepare and use those plants for major and minor acute and chronic conditions (to include trauma). Sam will also discuss some of the issues to be considered in regards to the safety and effectiveness of “weedcrafting” (harvesting wild medicinal plants) in city areas. This podcast is all about the herbs, and by the time it is over you will have learned several new medicinal plants and how to use them properly. Read more “The Urban Medic Part 2 – Medicinal Herbs”
