I count myself very lucky that seven years ago my husband decided to keep bees. We always have raw, local honey and wax on hand for all of my herbal projects, and I can’t imagine being without it. Granted, our original interest when embarking upon beekeeping was in the homebrewing of a honey-based alcoholic beverage known as mead.
