Best Guns for Preppers and Survivalist…
Forrest & Kyle “The Prepping Academy” Audio in player below!
Join Kyle and Forrest as they talk guns for defense. As American diplomacy, politics, and society falls apart anyone with a sane mind should be considering owning a gun and preparing for a WROL (with rule of law) America. Heck, probably a few. Why a few? The simple fact is that guns are tools. If you’ve ever gardened you know that you Continue reading Best Guns for Preppers and Survivalist!→
Gun Safety For Preppers
James Walton “I Am Liberty” Audio in player below!
As preppers, we have a very real responsibility. We are gun owners (or better be) and how we conduct ourselves is very important. Though it may be easy to forget the Newtown Massacre was conducted using the prepper mother’s guns. This is a very real blow for our community. In 2017 I hope that the word prepper becomes synonymous not with nat geo or gun violence but with the future of this nation and Continue reading Gun Safety For Preppers!→
Survival Skills and Hands on Training!
James Walton “I Am Liberty”
From bush craft to natural medicines and even good old fashioned self defense. Tonight on I Am Liberty we have Sam Coffman. The man behind www.thehumanpath.com, in my opinion, the most comprehensive survival school in the country.
This week on the We Grow Ours show, Nick and Don have a casual conversation.. Yup, that’s it, that is the show this week. No guests, nothing fancy. We chat about everything from Facebook posts to some of our upcoming events.
We start off with a lecture about sharing posts that grab us by the emotional coat tails and why it may not always be the best thing to do. Nick screwed that one up last week and Don has done it more times than he cares to admit! We move from Facebook to prepping again, and why we need to take back our food supply. Of Knives and Guns on The Human Path: Buying, caring for and using knives and guns can be overwhelming to a lot of people. Learning enough practical information about these very important tools and weapons before making a purchase can help save a lot of money and frustration. Join Sam Coffman as he discusses several points to consider when choosing, caring for and using various types of knives for various types of situations. He talks about common questions such as, “How much should you spend for a decent knife?” “Folding blade, multi-tool, fixed-blade or something else?” “Carbon or stainless steel?” “How long and what type of a cutting edge?” “How do you sharpen and care for a knife?” “What difference does the handle, sheath and shape of the blade make for different types of jobs?”
In addition to knives, Sam also discusses some gun basics this week. “What are some important considerations prior to spending money on a gun?” “Advantages and disadvantages to rifles vs. pistols and semi-automatics vs. revolvers and bolt-action rifles?” “Where do shotguns figure in to the mix?” “What are some simple training drills you can do at home to improve accuracy and gun handling without even having to spend money on ammo or go to a range, and why is it so important you do these kinds of drills?” “What are some of the common controversies around different caliber ammunition?” “When does caliber matter and when is it irrelevant?” Join Sam as he discusses these and other frequent questions that many people have when wanting to purchase and use a knife and a gun, both for utility and defense.

Join us on “Preparing For Life’s Storms” January 29th at 8 pm central time where we will be discussing considerations and options for emergency situation fire arms with Dustin. He will be approaching this topic from more of a statistical and factual point of view for shtf situations. Personal preference will always be a factor, a firearm is useless if you won’t or cannot use it. Sissy Bob will also be joining us to give the female perspective, guns for the woman. I hope you to see you there with these two great guests sharing their knowledge and experience of “Gun thoughts for SHTF”. Hope to see you there.
It’s New Year’s Eve and “The Preppers Poitin Hour” with your host Chris is not gonna venture out into the streets tonight. Bring a drink and let us sit back and look at what the New Year may bring. We have renewed assaults on our guns, liberties, wealth, and our persons. Is 2013 the Year of the Tyrant?
Are we going to bemoan the loss of our rights to arms, the fruits of our labors, and our once revered liberties a year from now? Maybe not. 2013 could be the new 1776 and it could be the year of NON-COMPLIANCE!
Come on in, pour a drink, sit down, and let’s talk!- Slainte!
Everywhere you look today, you hear about the war on terrorism. Do we really understand what they are looking for? Do we really know what criteria they use to describe the people they flag as possible threats? Do you think people that prep are among those that could be targeted? These are just a few questions that need to be considered. These questions are now running strongly through my mind. Maybe we should all step back and try to answer some of these questions and dig a little deeper into the logic of the situation.
Recently, I have been hearing many stories about local police as well as FBI agents, asking people about their content and statements posted on things like Facebook, YouTube, twitter and so on. It would appear to me that as long as there is not illegal activity being presented, there should be no Continue reading Are Preppers Being Watched?→

Put bullet in gun, aim, and fire. Yep, you now know what I know. Actually I know just a bit more having grown up an avid hunter but much of this information, just a little over my head. For many in chat and many preppers as well this was a hot topic. Guns should be a part of anybody’s awareness program for self defense and putting a little meat on the table. What about archery? Well, last nights show should have been scheduled with a little more time allowing for that topic. With only ten minutes left in the show there was some discussion on archery and a couple of good questions fielded by the host and guest. We got a promise of another show coming soon devoted to archery. This I am looking forward to as I believe it also should be a part of any preppers knowledge and equipment. All in all some good information. Listen to this show in player below.
