Most of the time we think of prepping as an endless loop of trips to various stores to stock up on supplies. Although this is an important part of being prepared, it really isn’t what we call “the prepper lifestyle”. Being prepared can be boiled down very simply to living without systems of support such as utilities and supplies. This week, we will take a look at how self reliance from these systems is the true meaning of being prepared. The prepper lifestyle really means being as able as possible to deal without these systems. We’ll take a look at the 3 basic categories of support systems and how a self reliant lifestyle is the true meaning of being prepared.
