In regards to ballistics, a rifle is just as useful as a shotgun, and more so for some purposes. You have to consider the same types of stuff that you would with a handgun. You got to consider muzzle velocity, muzzle energy, but with a rifle you’re also considering something called ballistic coefficient. Ballistic coefficient is basically how much resistance the bullet fines in the air when it’s traveling down range. The ballistic coefficient or the drag on the bullet can change depending on the shape of the bullet the type of bullet the velocity the bullet is traveling at and the material that the bullet is made of.

All of these things have to be considered when you’re determining the type of ammo that you want to stockpile or the type of ammo you want to load into your defensive firearm. Rifles have probably more available options than any other firearm on the market. So join us this Thursday on the Gunmetal Armory for discussion on ammo, guns, 2A, shooting, range practice, class 3 items, and so much more… As we travel on in to…. The Gunmetal Armory!! See you there this Thursday at 6pm only on… The Prepper Broadcasting Network.
