GMO Foods Dangers & Organic Farming Benefits!

Missouri Addresses the Dangers of GMO Foods and the Benefits of Organic Farming!

By: John Wesley Smith “Destiny Survival

GMO Foods MOA_logo_2015_dates200Many preppers are already keenly aware of the dangers of GMO foods. We’ve heard about the benefits of organic farming and gardening. And we see the need to support those who produce locally grown food.  These issues come together at the annual conference held by the Missouri Organic Association, February 5-7, 2015, in Springfield, MO.

My guest on DestinySurvival Radio this week is Sue Baird, Executive Director of the Missouri Organic Association. We talk about that conference and other topics. It promises to be of special interest to those who want to grow, and perhaps sell, organic produce and livestock. We also talk about the dangers of GMO foods and the use of glyphosates Read more “GMO Foods Dangers & Organic Farming Benefits!”

Seeds and Prepping Plans!

Seeds and Prepping Plans, two great shows for tonight from our Saturday hosts “The Prepared Canadian” and “The Road Less Traveled”!

Seeds ep65-5Seeds, what’s the difference? Now that the snow is gone, or almost ,our thoughts will be turning outdoors. More specifically to the gardens. There is no shortage of skills to learn or knowledge to be gained when it comes to growing your own food. We have to think about soil and amendments, water and storage for irrigation, mulches, hugel beds, etc. but how about spending some time thinking about your seeds. We have all heard that we need to have heirloom, or open pollinated seeds, but why? What is the difference between hybrid and GMO? Are they both bad for us? Read more “Seeds and Prepping Plans!”

Gluten Intolerance – GMO Connection

The Gluten Intolerance – GMO Connection
Host: Noreen “The Homestead Honey Hour”

Gluten intolerance_au_gluten_21Did you ever stop to wonder why it seems that so many people are diagnosed with gluten intolerance? I cannot think of a time in recent history when so many people seem to have either been formally diagnosed or self diagnosed as being “Gluten Intolerant”. It may be that we see gluten free products all over the marketplace. It may be that many of the labels you see boast that the contents are “gluten free”. But did you ever wonder why this seems to be so rampant? Read more “Gluten Intolerance – GMO Connection”

WHERE HAVE ALL THE PREPPERS GONE?

WHERE HAVE ALL THE PREPPERS GONE?
Host: Katzcradul “The Homestead Honey Hour

PREPPERSRemember the days when you’d hear the term ‘Prepper’ as often as you heard ‘gluten Intolerance’? Remember the days when Preppers, although a bit reluctant to reveal their passion for self-reliance, would do so with a sense of enthusiasm and pride? What happened to those days, and more importantly, where have all the preppers gone?

PREPPERSJoin Katzcradul as she discusses the apparent rise and fall of the Prepper phenomenon. She thinks there’s some important questions we should be asking ourselves. Do we now believe that our national power grid is in better shape than it was two years ago? Do we now believe that reliance on government agencies to take care of us in times of disaster is a good plan? Do we think that the food in supermarkets is safer to eat and a dependable source for our dinner table? Do we think public schools under Common Core are now paragons of education? Do we believe that our legislators are competent and work tirelessly to ensure our freedoms are maintained? Maybe you’re one who feels your world is now a safer place with scanners at airports, cameras on every street corner, surveillance through all our electronic devices, and drones patrolling overhead. No? Read more “WHERE HAVE ALL THE PREPPERS GONE?”

Combat inflation with productive gardening!

Bexar profile 100Preparing to Provide125Have you been watching the prices in the grocery store, as the product packages shrink?
What’s the answer? Grow your own produce. Every gardening question you ever wanted to ask but no one to ask it to. Well tonight on Preparing for Life’s Storms, BexarPrepper will welcome in Bobby (mhpgardener) an avid gardener, friend and gracious spirit. Bobby built both his greenhouses; I like to call them hangers cause their big enough to fit a plane in. He is learning hydroponic gardening he also gardens the traditional way, like the rest of us. Bobby grows some of the sweetest tomatoes I have ever tasted, nothing like what you get in the grocery store. So let’s all come with our questions and learn from the master and make our gardens as productive as possible to combat inflation.

Animals and seeds are IMPORTANT to us all!

homestead honey 125The Homestead Honey Hour with TheMrsVolfie! “show audio attached”

Recently it has come to my attention that a new law proposed by the European Commission would make it illegal to “grow, reproduce or trade” any vegetable seeds that have not been “tested, approved and accepted” by a new EU bureaucracy named the “EU Plant Variety Agency.”

After watching Mark Bakers struggles to save his pigs and Montana Jones in Canada lost her rare breed Shropshire sheep…they were all KILLED even the pregnant Ewes. The CFIA claimed three years ago that a ewe she sold years further back had scrapie. No signs, no symptoms, for a disease that poses no harm to humans – but they killed her ewes anyway. After death, tests came back negative as Montana knew they would. Read more “Animals and seeds are IMPORTANT to us all!”

Starve the beast by growing your own tobacco

tobbaco181x125Tom will be talking with Bill Drake about a unique way to starve the beast by growing your own tobacco.   People pay millions of dollars in tobacco tax every day, growing your own tobacco is an easy way to GaltStrike against the system.

Inspired by Ayn Rand’s book Atlas Shrugged and the Character John Galt. Our goal is to teach and share every possible “Legal” method of reducing and eliminating our tax footprints thereby starving the banker oligarchies of the world.
Mission: To share every idea possible to cut our production, expenses, and taxes to starve the banker oligarchy.
Description: We will accomplish our goals by learning how to reduce our labor and expenses within the “looters and moochers” economy, and redirecting our efforts more towards our own “personal” economies (our own Galt’s Gultch).
