The Gun Show

Dave-Womach-150x150Gun-Show-Pic_s

Dave Womach:
I’m not the expert… but I train like one.  Hi, I’m Dave Womach.  Coming from an entertainment background I’ve learned to be disciplined in all that I do.  I’ve headlined arenas and toured the world.  However, after all that traveling, I’m glad to be back in the USA.

Guns play an important part in my life for not only hunting, but for self defense.  While on tour I had to use a gun to defend my family, and who knows, without it I may not be here today.

My show is about everything guns.  From the basics of selecting the right gun for you or your wife, to figuring out ways to modify, upgrade, train, or clean.

One main thing that I’ve learned is that no matter how good you are in your given field of excellence, it’s important to consult with experts.  Much of my gun training hasn’t come from a fancy range, but rather consulting with hardened military vets who have actually been on both sides of the trigger, and have lived to talk about it. So when I say I’m not the expert, but I train like one… I mean it.

TheMrsVolfie is working towards a back to basics lifestyle that promotes health and self sustainability.  She enjoys gardening, canning, quilting, knitting, reading, writing and learning.    A firm believer that no matter what age or health you are, you can ALWAYS step on a new square and start each day fresh.  With the heart of a pioneer and an “everything old is new again” outlook, she enjoys sharing the lessons life is teaching her.  Prepping to her, is just a resurgence of the ways of our forefathers (and mothers) . Technology was designed to make life easier, not replace it!   She believes in being prepared, for bad weather, economic hard times, or whatever the future may hold from day-to-day. For her, this is no longer a dream, it’s a journey of reclaiming of life on life’s terms. Her favorite saying is, ” Make it over. Make it last. Make it do, or do without!”

I Am Liberty

I am liberty 125

What is the next step for preparedness and self reliance? Once your cupboards are stocked and needs are met for whatever the future holds, what is the next step? I Am Liberty is about prepping on a community scale. We are stepping away from the freeze dried foods and the ammunition to cement relationships and structure within our communities. Through efforts like community gardening, Co Op business and farming as well as bartering and time banking. You will hear from relevant guests as well as success stories from those who are in action as we speak! I myself included.

The Prepared Canadian!

Denob, AKA The Prepared Canadian, was brought up being a prepper although back then it was just called living.  Growing food and putting it up for the future was a huge part of everyday life.  Now grown and with a family of his own, he moved the whole lot from Montreal to their bug out location in the Laurentian Mountains where they continue to expand their self-reliant lifestyle.

Noticing a huge lack of resources for the Canadian prepper community, Denob stepped up to the plate and volunteered to revive the dormant Canadian Preppers Network Blog.  When the International Preppers Network Forum was opened, he was one of the first in line and soon became moderator and recently accepted the admin position and brought 3 new moderators on board to help deal with the growth of the international prepper community.

His belief that preppers need resources from fellow preppers as well as support and acceptance from the mainstream population is so entrenched that The Prepared Canadian Podcast was born.  He has made it his life goal to support preppers as well as educate all people, prepper or not, of the importance of being prepared.

GaltStrike

In 2008, Tom recognized his calling to build a national community of Preppers and to provide multiple online resources to help Preppers come together and share ideas, techniques and experiences with each other.  To begin building this community, he contacted those who were already creating islands of Prepper information such as Riverwalker from Texas, Jayce Hall and Phil Burns from Utah and a few others across the country.  He let them all know his goals and invited them to join in.

Having started a blog and forum, Tom began expanding into other media areas such as podcasting, video and newsletters.  He also began having conversations with lots of other people who were exploring survival and emergency preparedness online.  Tom was instrumental in evangelizing the newer term “Prepper” and teaching people what it meant to be a Prepper.  Many who now prominently call themselves a Prepper can trace their original understanding of the term back to Tom.

While working as a cross-country trucker, Tom continued to pursue building the APN and in 2011 took on new partners to help take the concept to the next level.  In 2012, APN was re-organized and new plans were put in place to help expand the reach of the APN to fulfill the goals of bringing Prepping to the mainstream.

Charlie In The Box

I’ve been doing video’s on YouTube for the past five years, and in those five years I’ve learn a lot of different things.

I’m neither a republican nor a democrat, not rich or poor, black or white, I’m your brother, and I’m your son. I’m your cousin, I’m your uncle. Doing the best I can to educate the American public about everything from government to religion and things that we all deal with in our everyday life. We all could feel it in our guts that there’s something wrong. You can fill it in your heart when your kids ask you, “is everything going to be alright?” and you don’t have that answer for them. So if you would like to start looking at things differently, maybe in a different perspective…please tune in week after week for this adventure that we will be going on., and I promise you at the end,. Things will start looking a lot more differently.
