The Season of Joy is fast approaching with Thanksgiving Dinner 2017 but a memory and the vestiges of the Christmas Season appearing everywhere. This time of the year is commonly known as the Season of Joy. That being said and considering the time of the year I asked myself what is it and what is its importance to us, collectively and individually? Does Joy really have any bearing on us whatsoever. What about our life of preparedness? Can it really make a difference or is it but a fleeting temporary emotion left over from childhood?

Joy is described as a state of happiness or felicity; a source or cause of delight; a mental or emotional state evoked by well being. If it is so important that we talk about a whole season of joy and I am not joyful what can I do?
Experts say having this good feeling can boost your ability to bounce back from stress, solve problems, think flexibly and even fight disease. Now that’s a boatload of benefit, maybe there is something to it.
Positive feelings/attitude and happiness are what joy is made of, the virtues of happiness are what create joy. Tune in Tuesday night as A Preppers Path takes a good hard and fun look at Joy.
