Todd, founder and operator of prepperwebsite.com has brought together and accumulated a wealth of information all in one place making it easy for preppers or anyone else that want answers to find them. In helping to set up this broadcast I knew Todd would be an excellent guest but had no idea as to what the listeners or myself was in for. The show was phenomenal.
The questions put forth by our host Chris were what anyone with a little thought would ask and some a few of us may not consider. Todd came back with his answers, thoughts, and opinions that were refreshing and informative. Thank you Todd for sharing with us your experience and knowledge in this excellent show. I think you are hearing things honey she replied, it’s 3 in the morning and we’re in the boonies out here. I’m telling you I can hear some people out there…
Did this show start out as some kind of Orson Wells “War of the worlds” radio Drama? Maybe not as convincing as the original that aired over half a decade ago but it sure made you think about the reality of life after a major disaster.
If you escaped a major disaster, pandemic, or what ever the scenario may be and made it to your bug out location would you 
indeed be safe. Would those that got out late and stumbled on to your safe place be friend or foe? Would those that found you have there own supplies or be desperate and willing enough to take yours and leave you to die in order that they may survive?
Last nights show delved into these questions and many more giving all those that listened reason to pause, and to think of the reality of how it could be. Listen in the player below as our hosts dive into the questions and answers surrounding such a possibility. With tips and ideas on how to be less detectable, protected, defensible and much more. I would have to give this episode of “In Time of Disaster” five stars.

Posted by: | CommentsTonight was no exception to the fun we always have. As with all our broadcasts, it was not only informative but entertaining as well. Don’t be just a prepper, be a happy prepper. For her first show as official Host Bev, one of the honeys on The Homestead Honey Hour held nothing back. Maintaining chickens, goats, bees, maple trees, seasonal pigs and the occasional steer can be exhausting. But thanks to rotating seasonal livestock, Creative planting and leaving the grass and weeds grow for the Bees and medicinal weeds..It can be very rewarding! She’s done it all and shared some great information about it. Listen to this episode of The Homestead Honey Hour in player below.

Divide and conquer!
Posted by: | CommentsThis show may have ruffled a few feathers in chat before our host Chris had his chance to explain the idea of fringe preppers being the voice of the majority. I believe he was dead on. Who knows the actual percentage of preppers that are main stream with the simple goal of independence and self reliance of hoping for the best and preparing for the worst? What I do know is the number is quite high. Unfortunately, it is those on the fringe, the smaller number with the loudest voice, often times portraying preppers as the gun toting rebels looking forward to confrontation whatever it may be.
Personally I believe that preppers as a whole should be a bit more outspoken as to why they prepare, their real concerns and sharing with others their reasons for prepping. Let the main stream prepper community not hide what they do and why but announce it, and be the voice. In doing so media would be forced to portray us as we actually are. Everyday people concerned for their families, there country and their future. Listen below to this episode of “Preppers Poitin Hour”

Ebbs joins Mr. Smith, more on guns and archery!
Posted by: | CommentsPut bullet in gun, aim, and fire. Yep, you now know what I know. Actually I know just a bit more having grown up an avid hunter but much of this information, just a little over my head. For many in chat and many preppers as well this was a hot topic. Guns should be a part of anybody’s awareness program for self defense and putting a little meat on the table. What about archery? Well, last nights show should have been scheduled with a little more time allowing for that topic. With only ten minutes left in the show there was some discussion on archery and a couple of good questions fielded by the host and guest. We got a promise of another show coming soon devoted to archery. This I am looking forward to as I believe it also should be a part of any preppers knowledge and equipment.
